BRIGGS OF BURTON 1,200 LITRE

Unused process tank manufactured by Briggs of Burton with a capacity of approximately 1,200 liters. Made from acid-resistant stainless steel AISI 316/316L. Tank dimensions: 1200 mm diameter x 870 mm straight side length. The top head is elliptical and bolted; the bottom head is elliptical and welded.

The tank is designed for operation at pressures up to 10 bar/full vacuum. Operating temperature range: -20°C to +210°C. The tank comes with a heating jacket made from acid-resistant stainless steel 304/304L. The heating jacket is suitable for operation within a pressure range of 10 bar/full vacuum and temperature range of -20°C to +210°C.

The tank is fitted with a top-mounted frame agitator, made from 316/316L stainless steel, equipped with PTFE side-wall scrapers. Agitator drive by 11 kW electric motor through a gearbox.

At the bottom head, the tank features a high-shear mixer/emulsifier, Silverson model BE600, made from 316/316L stainless steel, directly driven by a 22 kW electric motor. The entire tank is mounted on stainless steel legs (304/304L).
